arrived in Olamouc this afternoon, met with percussionists and conductor in advance of tomorrow’s sessions. tried writing this post and it got erased! exhausted from jet lag, lack of sleep, etc.
but Olamouc is beautiful, weather is great, Renee and Bob from Parma are wonderful, percussionists liked my instruments (Tibetan Bowl, Tingsha, cabasa from real gourd, a few others), and conductor loves the music, knows the score, has good ideas about pacing and strategy for recording, and I think we are in good hands.
Haim hopefully, is on train to Olamouc at this moment, after many delays–more for another post!
Time for this camper to sleep!!! Sessions start tomorrow a.m. at 9.
