Meira’s In Memoriam will be performed by Velléda Miragias, Associate Principal Cellist of the Boston Philharmonic, on Monday, March 8 @ 7 PM EST, as part of a virtual program presented by the U.N. Chamber Music Society of the United Nations Staff Recreation Council (UNCMS). It can be seen on UN YouTube or UN Web TV.
This concert will pay special tribute to the women who have helped to shape music history, and whose voices have been marginalized and silenced. The program will be:
